Kathrine “Katie” Armstrong was born and raised in the great state of Georgia. She grew up in Gwinnett County where she graduated from Brookwood High School. Katie continued her education at the University of Georgia where she earned a bachelor of science degree in psychology and a bachelor of arts degree in criminal justice.
After graduating from college she returned to Gwinnett County and was employed by the Gwinnett County Solicitor-General’s Office as a legal assistant. Shortly after being hired by the Solicitor’s Office Katie started law school at Atlanta’s John Marshall Law School. She continued to work for the Solicitor’s Office full time during the day and attended law school classes in the evening. After obtaining her juris doctorate she continued to work for the Gwinnett County Solicitor’s Office as a prosecutor. Katie was a prosecutor for over two years where she was responsible for prosecuting misdemeanor offenses ranging from simple traffic citations to battery, theft, and DUI’s.
Katie’s experience as a former prosecutor gives her an edge that clients need. Katie’s knowledge of the law, ability to analyze a case and experience as a trial attorney makes her an invaluable resource to her clients. No matter if a client requires representation for a divorce or criminal case or any other legal need, Katie treats her clients with respect and dignity while serving as their zealous advocate. She takes pride in the personal and caring service she provides clients during what can be an unpleasant time in their life.
Katie’s love for the law is only rivaled by her love for her husband, Greg. Katie and Greg live in Snellville with their three dogs and cat. Obviously Katie is an animal lover but she also loves to work in her gardens, cook, and cheer on her favorite teams: the Atlanta Braves, the Atlanta Falcons, and the Georgia Bulldogs!
